This is an interesting 3-D puzzle - a simple variation of the well-known
Soma’s Cube (Get your puzzle
clicking here). In this
27 individual cubes are stuck together into 7 pieces. Four pieces are
similar and “L” shapes, while the other 3 are different. The puzzle is
to assemble all these 7 pieces into a 3 x 3 cube. There are perhaps,
several different ways of making the cube. Try it on your own. However,
one method is given here. It is actually quite an easy puzzle. it's one
of those puzzles that looks easy at first glance however is actually
quite tricky. Once you know the solution, though, it's very quick and
easy to solve. We will explore the fascinating world of mechanical
puzzles, take a closer look at six different types of puzzles and solve
them. These are Barr puzzles. A Barr puzzle is a mechanical puzzle
consisting of interlocking pieces or a part that form a
three-dimensional structure. The objective of the puzzle is to resemble
the structure by separating the pieces and then reassembling them again.
